Karsh influenced me to in some ways follow his method of taking photographs of people who have inspired me. The only difference from Karsh is my photography is on my teacher who has inspired me to do better in my education. My teacher Jessica Parfitt is a history teacher at Pittsburg Senior High School she has taught me to find U.S history very interesting. Karsh photographed portraits in black and white of people and I created the similar effect with the images I took. He either took photographs of people in a certain position or in the action of which they are known for. He influenced me to do so because I found it , it can be a way to honor Yousuf Karsh and My teacher. I captured Ms. Parfitt while teaching to represent way she is influential, just like Karsh would to people who made a change in this world through his portraits. Ms. Parfitt way of interacting with her students makes creates a comfortable zone in the classroom in which students like myself feel we can ask for help without being embarrassed. Her personality is one of the best from teacher I've seen so far she makes history interesting and understandable for students. Most teachers will just give a lesson straight from a textbook and except us to read ,but Ms. Parfitt takes the time to full make us understand why events given are historically important. Another thing that makes her an inspiring teacher is she is not afraid to challenge her students in the work she gives us it rather helps us prepare us for colleges who won't except late work as well. For those and many other reasons is why Ms. Parfitt is an influential teacher to me.
