Cropping for Better Composition Part 2

Before
After

Before
After
Cropping this photograph taken by my group illustrates the texture rule of composition. The cropping part added in the after photograph gives the imagine a better composition. It allows the imagine to become three dimensional because the elements in the photograph up close create texture and they become alive. The light hitting the person in the images plays an important role in creating texture and since it was on the person face texture created the photograph to become alive and have better composition.

Cropping for Better Composition- Advanced Photo

Original photography by Bryan Farley
After cropping for better Composition

                                                         New Rules of Composition
                                                                    in Cropping

The cropped photo illustrates the depth of field rule of composition , because in the cropped photo I have drastically impact the bottom of the photography originally take by Bryan Farley. I impacted the image by focusing on the shoes of the people and the movement position they were capture doing with there feet. Instead of isolating the front and blurring out the background, I created the inverse version of depth of field. Blurring the foreground and making the back the main focus subject and revealing the motions capture and the bottom that weren't focus in the original photograph making it a larger depth of field.

Composition photo assignments

My group and I decided to chose the compositions of simplify the scene. We picked this composition because it was different from what everyone was choosing and it was what grabbed our attention. Simplify the scene is when your eye and mind right away focuses on a subject of interests but the camera still captures it. One must try and blurry out the extra background we don't find interesting since we can't take it out piece by piece unless we use some sort of edith but thats not the task in simplifying the scene. Blurring the background excludes it from the focus ,however its still part of the story. This simply picture my group and I took of columns make the first one the main focus in the picture and the rest still there as part of the beauty of great construction but its not as important as the main one focusing on the design. When we go out to shoot other ways we can create simplify the scene photographs is using people and focusing on one main human while still capturing other people in the background "off guard" capturing simplify the scene.

Yosemite and Photography

Yosemite and Photography

When Yosemite National park opened October 1, 1890 Pop Laval a central valley photographer started photographing the park nearly about 100 years ago and is well known for his work doing so.  It is said that the park was breathtaking because it provided a year round mountain-and-valley scenery as well as a half mile seep depression carved by glaciers during the last age with now a 3,000 foot high granite domes and waterfalls this features made it interesting to photograph. When photographs took photos of the park to promote it beautiful significants like Laval begin know as a great photographs of California's Great Central Valley was hired again and again. This images are created with what the American people wanted to capture about Yosemite park. If i was asked to capture picture of such a well known park i would wanna capture its significance of why people find it so interesting and why they wish to continue seeing it alive. Also capture why the mission is to protect American's great outdoors and powering our future. The best person who takes photographs of Yosemite National Park is Michael Frye at the moment.
